RIBA PRESIDENT'S MEDAL NOMINATION 2019

After completing my Part 1 RIBA Certificate in Architecture I was nominated by Oxford Brookes University for the prestigious award of the President's Bronze Medal 2019. This award has international appeal with over one hundred nominations a year from architecture schools across the globe.
the nomination was for the studio project I completed for my Part 1 - The Eardley Contemporary.
Design Brief: The project brief is to design an Art Gallery which will display the artworks of Joan Eardley. Joan Eardley is one of Scotland’s most renowned painters of the twentieth century. She is recognised as reminding Scots of lost tenement communities and the wild beauty of coastal landscapes.

Beginning my career at Tinto Architecture, and working within the practice for 6 years I decided to move practice to Hyve Architects to see how another practice operates and get involved with some exciting projects. Hyve Architects are based in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.
I am excited to see what the future holds!
FEATURE IN HOUSE BEAUTIFUL NOVEMBER 2017 ISSUE

Absolutely delighted that the Nellfield flat renovation project is featuring in 'House Beautiful' magazine (International Magazine of the Year) this month.
Nellfield was awarded House Beautiful's 2017 Renovation Of The Year in the 'whole house category'. The judges were impressed by the sheer amount of work that went into the transformation and selected it as the overall winner. The prize was £3000 worth of DFS vouchers which were put to good use!
